Terms of Service

Last updated

These terms form an agreement between you and StagePass GmbH. Please read them before using our Services.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing officialstagepass.com, creating an account or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these terms.

Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to create an account.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Our role as a ticketing platform

StagePass provides a platform that allows event organisers to sell tickets and allows you to buy them. Unless we state otherwise, the contract for admission to an event is between you and the event organiser.

The organiser is responsible for the event itself, including its content, timing, venue, safety and any age or entry restrictions.

Tickets, orders and pricing

  • An order is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation from us; until then it may be rejected.
  • Prices are shown inclusive of applicable taxes, with any booking or service fees displayed before you pay.
  • Tickets may be limited per person or per household to ensure fair access.
  • We may cancel orders that appear fraudulent, automated or in breach of these terms.
  • Obvious pricing errors do not oblige us to fulfil an order; we will notify you and refund any amount taken.

Cancellations, changes and refunds

Refund entitlements depend on the organiser and on applicable consumer law. Tickets for live events are generally exempt from the standard EU right of withdrawal for distance contracts.

  • If an event is cancelled, you are normally entitled to a refund of the ticket price.
  • If an event is rescheduled, your ticket usually remains valid for the new date, and a refund may be available where the law or the organiser allows.
  • Booking and service fees may be non-refundable where permitted.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Acceptable use

When using the Services, you agree not to:

  • Use bots, scrapers or other automated means to acquire tickets.
  • Resell tickets above face value where this is restricted by the organiser or by law.
  • Circumvent, disable or interfere with security or rate-limiting features.
  • Copy, duplicate or forge tickets, barcodes or QR codes.
  • Upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services or to another user’s account.

Intellectual property

All content on the Services, including the StagePass name, logo, interface, text and graphics, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not use it without our prior written permission.

Service availability

We aim to keep the Services available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or restrict access for maintenance, security or operational reasons, and will give notice where reasonably practicable.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for the tickets in question.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably suspect of fraudulent activity. You may close your account at any time; valid tickets already purchased remain valid.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country in which you reside.

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform for consumers. We are not obliged, and are not generally willing, to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date shows the current version. Material changes will be notified in advance, and continued use after they take effect means you accept them.
